On October 14, 2022, the selection of the 2021-2022 academic year postgraduate scholarship of the School of Life Sciences of East China Normal University was completed. After verification and public announcement, 5 doctoral candidates were finally confirmed to win the national scholarship. Haiqian Zhou were awarded the 2021-2022 academic year National Scholarship!

​On April 25, 2022, Haiqian Zhou was funded by the "Academic Innovation Enhancement Program for Excellent Doctoral Students" of East China Normal University. The program aims to forge the academic quality of graduate students, improve their innovation ability, and explore a new paradigm of excellent graduate education.

9 March 2022, Dongmin Yin, The Key Laboratory of Brain Functional Genomics of the Ministry of Education, College of Life Sciences, East China Normal University, and his group published the article “Olfactory regulation by dopamine and DRD2 receptor in the nose” on Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS).

At the Yangtze River Delta Neuroscience Youth Forum held on November 20-21, 2021, Zhou Haiqian, PhD student of 2020, made an oral report entitled “Olfactory regulation by dopamine and DRD2 receptor in the nose” , and won the second prize for graduate students.
