On January 12, 2021, the Yin Lab, key laboratory of Brain Functional Genomics, Ministry of Education, East China Normal University, published a research paper online in nature communications entitled “Overexpression of Neuregulin 1 in GABAergic interneurons results in reversible cortical disinhibition”, which revealed the neural mechanism of cortical disinhibition in schizophrenia. Yaoyi Wang, Bing Zhao and Mengmeng Wu, PhD students from the School of Life Sciences, are the co-first authors of this paper. Professor Dongmin Yin is the corresponding author of this paper.
